How We Train
Our company values are that we all do better when each of us do better. This idea is reinforced with the clients’ workers who are treated as business partners instead of employees.
Mission
“Employees who fall in love with their work experience higher productivity levels and engagement, and they express loyalty to the company as they remain longer, costing the organization less over time. Mission-driven workers are 54 percent more likely to stay for five years at a company and 30 percent more likely to grow into high performers than those who arrive at work with only their paycheck as the motivator.” Forbes, 2018
Missions create sense of purpose and sense of belonging. Both produce a strong work ethic and high productivity. Our training programs are deeply rooted with this methodology.
Affirmation
Studies show that people work hard when there is something in it for them in addition to money. Human beings need affirmation. When they feel good about themselves, they perform better. So we make sure that all team members know when they are doing things the right way through positive reinforcement. This is one of our most important values.
Redirection
When behaviors are not consistent with hard work and focus, team members are gently re-directed. They are shown again how to perform the task properly, and are reminded that they are important for the success of the company. They are also told that they are capable of the job. They are left feeling good about themselves instead of feeling shameful which results in better performance long term.
Profit-Sharing
Since we encourage profit-sharing, then motivation is “baked-in”. If a line-worker in the grill knows that he will get paid more when profits increase, he will do a good job. It’s simple math. He or she also doesn’t want to let down co-workers.
Goals + Measurable Results
“OKR” stands for “Objectives and Key Results.” They help create goals and are great leadership tools for communicating what the organization wants to achieve. OKRs establish clear milestones that need to be reached in order to accomplish those goals.
